New York's Puerto Rican Day Parade 2004

The Census stats state that 60percent of the Puerto Rican people in the U.S lives in New York.

Well  just show up the second Sunday of June on New York's 5th Avenue around one o' clock in the afternoon  (you'll need to get
there much earlier than that to secure a comfortable viewing position) and try making your way from 44th street to 60th street.
You will probably make it before dusk. It's big.

Look around take in the many flavors.  Feeling a little punchy? Now get lost in the rhythm. Oh! yes...bring along a bit of ear
protection  just in case you find yourself next to an overexcited teenager. Lost in a blood curdling scream. It's that pride thing,
 you see.
